Prince of Wales Mark Lodge No.466 opened at 6pm | |
on Tuesday 18th December 2012. |

The principal business of the lodge was to celebrate: | |
"50th Anniversary in Mark Masonry of | |
W.Bro.Alan Burrows, P.Prov.G.S.W.", |
|
The meeting was well attended, with a good | |
number in attendance from the Prov Team. |
|
W.Bro Burrows was addressed by the PGM who gave a | |
very interesting insight into Alan's life & his Masonic | |
career, he was also presented with his Provincial & | |
Grand Lodge Certificates to mark his 50 years of | |
service to the Mark Degree. | |

Alan received long & sustained applause on several occasions from all present to show the high esteem to | |
which he is held. | |
He responded to the PGM's presentation with a very | |
warm & heartfelt speech which again was well | |
received by all. | |
All the Brethren attended the Festive Board and were | |
treated to a nice meal & glass of wine. | |

A very nice evening with a genuine warm glow of | |
Brotherhood amongst those present to salute a really | |
nice & well respected Mark Master Mason. | |

The PGM thanked W.Bro's Trevor Price and David Burgess Lodge Secretary and DC respectively along with | |
W.Bro. David Emmerson, Prov DC & Lodge ADC for their work in arranging such a splendid evening. | |
It was a delightful surprise when as W.Bro. David Burgess was concluding his toast to W. Bro. Alan Burrows | |
nine members and the conductor of St. Helen's Choral Society (of which Alan is a member) entered the | |
dining room and serenaded him. They continued with a carol selection, to the delight and applause of all | |
present" | |
